Toyota Motor Corporation’s Chairman Toyoda Akio has been inducted into the Motoring Hall of Fame.
The award comes as recognition of Akio’s lifetime of work in the Japanese and global car industry.
Akio Toyoda studied law and business administration before joining Toyota Motor Corporation in 1984. His career included postings in every phase of the company’s automotive operations, working both in Japan and internationally. He served as TMC President from 2009 until 2023 when he became the Chairman of the Board.
