
Around 50 cars from the Chateau de Vernon Automobile Museum will be sold at auction by Artcurial on Sunday 28 September.
Among the most important cars in the sale are a 1963 Porsche 356 B Cabriolet, a 1958 Facel Vega HK500, and a Maserati 3500 GT Sebring from 1963. Other highlights include a 1971 Aston Martin DBS, 1921 Delahaye Type 87 Torpedo with Kelsch body, and a 1997 Dodge Viper GTS.
The sale will take place at the museum, which is located to the southeast of Poitiers in France. A number of other car lots will also be included in the auction which includes a 1923 Bentley 3 Litre and 1926 Lancia Lambda.
The Chateau de Vernon Automobile Museum was the work of enthusiast Jean-Pierre Nylin and the cars were housed in the restored outbuildings of the 15th century chateau.
