The Scottish Austin Seven Club is running its second young driver event on 6-7 September at the Forrestburn hillclimb.
After the success of the event in 2024, the 2025 meeting allows anyone from the age of 12 upwards to drive an Austin Seven on the closed roads of the Monklands Sporting Car Club’s tracks in North Lanarkshire.
The young drivers are accompanied by an experienced adult and speeds are limited to a 15mph maximum.
There will also be overnight camping and the cost of the event is split between those attending.
In 2024, the event attracted attendees from as far afield as Manchester and was judged a great success as introducing younger people to pre-war cars.
