Blow-Up Rolls-Royce for sale

The 1966 Rolls-Royce Silver Could III Drophead Coupé driven by actor David Hemmings in the film Blow-Up is to be sold at auction on Wednesday 10 September.

With an estimate of £190,000-£230,000, the dark blue Rolls is one of the stars of H&H’s Kelham Hall sale.

As well as being used in the Palm d’Or-winning film, the car was owned for a period by the film’s co-producer Pierre Rouve.

The car is one of only 49 right-hand drive cars built to this specification and has recently been sorted by P&A Wood.

H&H’s Angus Fender said: ‘I’m sure it will attract a lot of interest from movie aficionados and classic car enthusiasts alike, all wanting to own a stylish Rolls-Royce that demands attention wherever it goes.’
