The Fall Memorabilia Online Auction by Broad Arrow will see more than 140 lots sold and the proceeds will be donated to Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia charity.
The sale is set to run online from Friday 26 September to Sunday 5 October and all of the lots are being sold without reserve.
Among the highlights of the sale is a set of Sir Jackie Stewart’s 1966 Indy 500 race overalls, which he wore at the event but did not race in. They have an estimate of £7000-£9000.
There are also race overalls from Damon Hill and his 1999 season at Jordan Grand Prix, and they come with a £3000-£4000 estimate.
Michael Schumacher fans will be keen to bid on a pair of his 1996 Ferrari race gloves, which are signed by Schumacher and dated from 23 January 1996 while testing at the Paul Ricard circuit.
Other lots include a race helmet worn by Gerhard Berger when he raced for McLaren (pictured), signed boots from Fernando Alonso, and a Sebastian Vettel signed helmet from 2012.
Matt Coles, Memorabilia Specialist for Broad Arrow Auctions, said: ‘Our Fall Memorabilia sale will appeal to serious motorsport collectors and enthusiasts alike. It presents a variety of desirable pieces with a broad range of estimates and a number of special charity lots where all proceeds raised will be donated to Race Against Dementia, an organisation we’re delighted to work with once again.’
