A 1987 Ferrari Testarossa with a Targa-top conversion made its entrance at the Wheels Mariënwaerdt Concours d’Elegance in The Netherlands.
Created by coachbuilder Niels van Roij Design, the car is called the Guida Touring Sport and was built with the idea of what an original factory Targa-roofed car would like.
It took the Dutch company 3000 hours to craft the new top and blend it into the original Testarossa shape. The car also has reinforcements to maintain its structural integrity.
The Targa roof panels lift out and can be stored in bespoke bags to avoid damage.
At present, the Guida Touring Sport is a one-off creation, but Niels van Roij Design is happy to discuss more commissions and tailor designs to individual client’s preferences.
