Brands Hatch is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary as a competitive venue in 2026 and will run events billed as ‘A Century of Power.
Among the anniversary events is a new Motor Racing Legends-run fixture on 19-21 June. There will also be a Touring Car Rewind meeting, as well as the Historic Sports Car Club and Masters Historic Racing event for Grand Prix cars run on the fill GP Circuit.
Motorcycling will also form part of Brands Hatch’s calendar with the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club running a meet on 4-5 July under the banner ‘100 Years of Motorcycles.’
Brands Hatch was first used as a venue in 1926 for cycling and cross-country running events, followed by motorcycle races. Car racing began in 1950 with the creation of a new tarmac circuit.
Since then, Brand Hatch has been the site for many famous events and races, including Formula 1, World Sportscar Championship, and World Superbike meetings.
