Porsche 904 replica comes with flat-eight engine

Dutch firm Aerfal Automotive is reviving the Porsche 904 with its take on the classic racing model.

The AE94 will use a Porsche 914 as its base, but the car will be powered by Aerfal’s own flat-eight motor that has been specially commissioned for the car.

Other parts for the AE94 include Bilstein suspension, BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, and Bridge of Weir leather for the interior.

The car will also have input from classic Porsche specialist Tuthill and the first cars are expected to be delivered in 2028.

A limited run of 94 cars produced in total and each will have a price of around €3 million (£2.61 million).
