Singer Nine with Le Mans history heading for sale

A Singer Nine TT Team car with four Le Mans entries to its name is coming to auction with H&H on Wednesday 3 December at its Millbrook Sale.

The 1935 Singer is one of only four ‘AVC’ cars built by the company for competition use and it retains its original engine block.

Coming to sale from a 30-year custodianship with the current family owners, the Nine competed at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1935, 1937, 1938 and 1939.

The car is being sold with a quantity of spares and lots of supporting paperwork, and has an estimate of £60,000-£80,000.
