Broad Arrow’s Zürich Auction enjoyed a buoyant 87% sell-through rate and achieved total sales of more than CHF 22 million (£20.8 million).
The highest bid of the auction went to a 1951 Jaguar D-type, XKD 551, which made CHF 5,181,250 (£4.9 million).
A much newer British car also caused excitement when a 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie went under the hammer. The Gloss Storm Purple car sold for CHF 2,706,250 (£2,562,358).
A 1952 Ferrari 212 Europa Pinin Farina Coupé once owned by Ingrid Bergman was another keenly bid lot that ended at CHF 816,250 (£772,850).
