Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider tops best ever year for Gooding Christie’s

Gooding Christie’s has announced 2025 as its highest grossing year ever with total sales of $234 million (£175 million).

The highest selling car in 2025 from Gooding Christie’s was a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider that sold for £25,305,000 (£18.86 million) at its Pebble Beach sale.

“025’s results are a 14 percent increase over 2024’s for Gooding Christie’s and the company sold 52 lots for more than $1 million.

Gooding Christie’s also announced during 2025 the signing of a multi-year appointment as the official auction house of Rétromobile Paris and the newly created Rétromobile New York, with the inaugural sale to take place at the Javits Center in November 2026.
