Iconic Auctioneers regains UK top spot

With total live auction sales of £35 million in 2025, Iconic Auctioneers is the UK market leader.

Figures verified by independent auction analyst Richard Hudson show Iconic Auctioneers’ sales are £5 million ahead of its nearest competitor in the UK.

During the year, Iconic Auctioneers has sold 976 cars with an 83 percent sale rate across its 10 live auctions of 2025.

The company also achieved 29 world records in 2025 for sales of modern supercars and classic cars.

Among these records was the £562,500 paid for a Prodrive P25 with just 121 miles on the clock.

A further world record followed with £393,750 for a 1955 Porsche 356 ‘Pre-A’ 1500 Speedster, presented in preservation class condition.

Rob Hubbard, Managing Director and Principal Auctioneer at Iconic Auctioneers, said: ‘To be confirmed as the UK market leader is a result we are extremely proud of. Achieving £35 million in car sales, alongside such a high sales rate, shows that buyers and sellers value a business that is open, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Live auctions remain central to what we do, giving people the chance to see cars properly, talk to our specialists and bid with confidence.’

Iconic Auctioneers first sale of 2026 takes place on Friday 20 February at the Race Retro show.
