A Lancia Stratos described as being in ‘time capsule’ condition is to be sold by Gooding Christie’s at its Paris sale on Wednesday 4 February at the Rétromobile show.
The 1975 Stratos HF Stradale sold new to Italian collector Mario Righini, who kept the car for more than 45 years.
During that time, the car only cover 2000km to make it one of the lowest mileage Stratos of the 492 examples built.
As a result, the car still shines in its original Celeste blue paint and retains details such as the factory-correct inspection markings, St Gobain and Glaverbel glass, Cavis hoses, and its tool kit.
As expected of a car in this state, it has its original engine and gearbox in situ.
This is the first time this Lancia Strato has been offered for public sale and comes with estimate of €750,000-€850,000 (£650,000-£735,000).
