An Austin 1100 used in the hit film I Swear was one of the stars of Morris Leslie’s February sale.
Despite its on-screen fame, the 1100 Mk3 sold for a modest £2050 and was among more than 100 lots to find new owners.
The Scottish-based auction house reported a successful day, with an 81 percent sale rate.
Most expensive car of the sale was a 1974 Jensen Interceptor that made £22,252.50 after a fight for the car that saw 45 bids before the hammer fell.
Bread and butter classics made up the bulk of the catalogue, with a 1973 Ford Escort 4dr selling at £6450 and a 1964 Morris Minor 1000 achieving £3135.
A more modern classic in the shape of a 2002 Audi A2 found a new home for just £1650.
