Four Jaguar MkIIs will go under the hammer at H&H’s Kelham Hall sale on Wednesday 18 March and each offers bidders something different.
A 1961 MkII 3.4 will appeal to those seeking a sporting experience as it has been built to fast road specification and comes in racy red.
Sold without reserve, this car has a tuned 3.4-litre XK engine that was fitted during a restoration in 2014.
For those wanting their MkII thrills in a more original spec, a 1961 3.8 model with manual gearbox and overdrive is selling with an estimate of £25,000-£30,000.
This green MkII has had just two owners in 50 years and has covered 80,000 miles from new.
Third in the MkII line-up is another 1961 3.8 model that was originally sold to the US but has returned to the UK and been converted to right-hand drive.
It has a five-speed manual gearbox conversion, as well as an XJ6 steering rack and power steering to make it an ideal daily driver classic Jaguar.
Rounding out the MkII quartet is another 3.8 model from 1961 that is a former award winner and has been in single family ownership for 36 years.
It’s an original UK car finished in Opalescent Golden Sand with tan leather, and it has been uprated from the automatic gearbox it left the factory with to an all-synchromesh four-speed manual. This car is estimated at £20,000-£25,000.
