The centenary of the Nürburgring is being marked in appropriate fashion by Caterham with the release of its limited run Nürburgring Edition.
Only 100 of this model will be made and all come with a 210bhp Ford Duratec 2.0-litre engine to deliver 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and 136mph – just right for a few laps of the German track.
The Nürburgring Edition comes with a bespoke race suspension set-up developed by Bilstein.
A unique colour scheme also marks out the model with red lettering and a choice of Agate Grey, Traffic Red or Basalt Grey main body colour.
This 7’s roll bar is painted red to match the lettering, and there’s red stitching on the leather seats and transmission tunnel.
Each of the 100 cars made will come with a numbered plaque and the Caterham Seven Nürburgring Edition costs from £48,995.
