The Hot Wheels Legends Tour returns for 2026 to seek out the head-turning cars that could win the ultimate prize of being immortalised as one of the firm’s 1:64 die-cast models.
Open to road, track, new or classic cars, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour will see the final judging for UK entries take place at CarFest, Silverstone on Saturday 29 August.
The winning entry has a chance to win a trip for two to California and for their car to join the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends.
Ted Wu, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Design for Vehicles at Mattel, said: ‘The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is all about celebrating builders who dream big and aren’t afraid to break the mould.
‘his will be our seventh stop in the UK and it never disappoints. The creativity, craftsmanship and garage spirit on show always makes the judging incredibly tough and that’s exactly how it should be. We can’t wait to see which finalists make it to Silverstone.’
Some of the previous UK builds to make it to the finals include a rally-inspired Fiat 126 and a BMW E21 3 Series created in the style of a Group 5 race car.
