Lancaster Insurance has launched its Young Accompanied Driver endorsement to help younger classic car enthusiasts get on the road.
Existing Lancaster customers insured through KGM can add the Young Accompanied Driver endorsement to allow a named driver who is 18-years or more behind the wheel of their classic car.
The young driver must have been driving for a minimum of 12 months to qualify for the policy addition and be accompanied by the main policyholder who is at least 25-years-old.
The Young Accompanied Driver add-on is applicable to single or multiple vehicles, includes foreign travel and personal accident and belongings cover.
Other benefits include spare parts cover, salvage retention, choice of repairer, agreed value at additional cost, and cover at static shows and non-timed rallies.
