The sole Bentley Speed Six bodied by Saoutchik is going to auction at Pebble Beach and will be sold by Gooding Christie’s.
Out of 182 Speed Six models made, this sole Saoutchik car is a two-time Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance winner and was previously restored by RC Moss.
It is a short chassis model and the body is said to have been one of the most expensive ever fitted to this Bentley model in period.
The two-door drophead coupe has a cabin that features a solid German silver dashboard with matching door cappings. It also has fitted luggage.
The car comes to auction with an estimate of $2 million-$3.5 million (£1.48 million-£2.6 million).
