KAMM adds 912T touring model to line-up

KAMManufaktur has added the new 912T model to its re-engineered Porsche 912 build options to give customers a more touring-biased car than the 912C.

The 912T retains the original Porsche’s bodywork, restored and reinforced to offer improved safety and handling. It also uses carbon fibre for the wings, bonnet, boot lid, bumpers, and door mirrors to reduce weight compared to the standard Porsche 912.

A 2.0-litre 616 engine is used and tuned to 163hp, while a five-speed gearbox is upgraded by KAMM with short-shift kit. A ZF limited slip differential is part of the 912T package. Brembo brakes, 15-inch Fuchs alloy wheels, and TracTive suspension complete the mechanical makeover.

Inside, the Touring has seats developed by Fusina and KAMM, Smiths gauges, Fusina Racing steering wheel, and the option of wireless phone charging and Bluetooth connectivity.

Miklós (Miki) Kázmér, founder and CEO of KAMManufaktur, said: ‘The 912 is a timeless classic and in the 912T we have re-imagined it as a sports tourer that delivers elevated comfort without diluting the pure joy of driving.

‘Our team of designers and engineers relished the chance to create a slightly more comfort-oriented version of our 912. In the 912T we have crafted a timeless sports tourer that exudes style and sophistication, without compromising the purity of the drive.’

The KAMManufaktur 912T costs from €245,000 (£212,000) excluding the donor car. Cars will be built in batches of five and the first 912T build will begin at the start of 2026.
