Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe from Singer makes debut in North America

The Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer will make its North American debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.

The latest reworked Porsche from Singer comes with a 420bhp naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine made by Cosworth and uses a six-speed manual gearbox.

Based on a 964-generation model, the Singer has a strengthened chassis, traction control, electronic stability control, and ABS anti-lock brakes fitted.

It also comes with four-way adjustable shock absorbers with electronic damping.

As with all Singer models, the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer has a long list of options for customers to personalise the car, and only 100 of this model will be produced.

Rob Dickinson: Singer’s Founder, Executive Chairman and Creative Director, said: ‘In the 1980s you could order a new 911 Carrera with the pumped-up bodywork of the Turbo but powered by the company’s latest, naturally aspirated flat six. It became known as the Carrera with Super Sport Equipment. Our services reference this car and celebrate the era with a vision for an ultimate, naturally aspirated, G model 911, reimagined for the 21st century. At its heart is a remarkable flat-six, bringing together our learnings from the last fifteen years, and adding variable valve timing for the first time.’
