Competition classics lead the field at Broad Arrow’s Zoute sale

A selection of competition cars will head up the catalogue of cars being sold by Broad Arrow at its Zoute Concours Auction on Friday 10 October.

A BMW 3.0 CSL Group 2 that won the 1976 24 Hours of Spa and its class at that year’s Le Mans 24 Hours is one of the stars of the sale.

It’s joined by a 1974 Lancia Stratos Group 4 rally car that was used in the 1982 Italian Rally Championship, plus many historic events since.

Another Italian rally machine is the 1976 Fiat 131 Abarth Rally Group 4 which was used in the 1977 World Rally Championship driven by Fulvio Bachelli and Markku Alén.

These cars are joined by a 1989 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V in Works Group A Safari specification. Used by Jorge Recalde and Jorge Del Buonoin in the 1989 Safari Rally, this car is presented in the for it was last used as a practice car by Miki Biasion in 1990.

A further rally star in the Zoute sale is a 1985 Citroen BX 4TC, while a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona converted to Competizione specification adds some track-based interest to the catalogue.
