Right Royal Range Rover for sale

A Range Rover formerly owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is coming up for sale with Iconic Auctioneers at the NEC Classic Motor Show on Saturday 8 November.

The 2007 L322 TDV8 is thought to be the only one of this model supplied to the Queen with its 3.6-litre V8 turbodiesel engine and finished in Tonga Green.

Estimated at £50,000-£60,000, it was supplied new through Land Rover Special Vehicles and used privately by Her Majesty.

It’s believed to be the only diesel Range Rover used by Her Majesty, as all others are thought to have come with petrol engines. It also has rear grab handles and a dog guard fitted at the request of its Royal owner.

The late Queen was seen using the car on many occasions, such as the Royal Windsor Horse Trials and at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

The car heads to auction with 120,000 miles in the clock and has spent time in Spain with a subsequent private owner.

It has been restored and recommissioned by the vendor using original parts from Land Rover and is now regarded as one of the best examples of this model of Range Rover.

Rob Hubbard, Managing Director and Principal Auctioneer at Iconic Auctioneers, said: ‘It is a privilege to offer a vehicle so closely associated with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The L322 is already an icon of modern British motoring, and this example represents a unique opportunity to own a car that served our late monarch personally. We expect it will attract global interest from collectors and enthusiasts alike.’
