Hagerty’s 2026 Bull Market List of 10 cars to watch this year has been released.
Among the 10 cars highlighted for 2026 are a couple of surprises, including the original Ford Transit Mk1 and modern classics such as the Porsche 996 and Mercedes-Benz SLK R171.
Cars that are more expected tips for growth in 2026 encompass the 196601986 Alfa Romeo Spider range, Ferrari F430, MGA, Toyota Supra A80, and Volkswagen Golf GTI MkII.
Less likely contenders for improved price performance in the coming 12 months tipped by Hagerty are the Vauxhall Viva HC that has not seen the same market performance as the Ford Escort.
Another unlikely tip is the Riley Nine Imp, which shows pre-war cars still have the draw to excite and bring in a new breed of buyer.
John Mayhead, Editor of the Hagerty Price Guide, said: ‘The 2026 list really does have something for everyone. These are not high-end collector cars, but rather the cars that we perceive as offering the ultimate in value in 2026 when it comes to affordability and the ownership experience.
‘These are the cars that deliver genuine value in more ways than just financial returns, cars that have written their own chapters in motoring history and enable owners to write theirs.’
