Bridge Classic Cars has launched its Theatre in

Bridge Classic Cars has launched its Theatre in Education school tour to bring hands-on learning to primary schools in Suffolk.

The free live performances will run from March and present an original production called The Story of Rilee.

It brings in a mix of theatre, history, engineering, and sustainability using Rilee, a 1905 classic car being brought back to life by restorers called Max and Molly.

These two characters take the school children on a journey through the restoration process and the performance is followed by activities to help children in STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) subjects.

Craig Ranson, Managing Director of Bridge Classic Cars, said: ‘We wanted to create something that genuinely excites children while still delivering real educational value. Theatre is a powerful way to connect with young audiences, and Rilee gives us a friendly, engaging way to talk about history, innovation and the choices we make about the future.’

Designed for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, the project is delivered by Bridge Classic Cars Kids, the educational part of the Suffolk-based classic car restoration company, and builds on the business’s wider commitment to sustainability, education and community engagement.
