Mercedes G-Wagen specialist Touring has been acquired by Curated as part of the company’s increasing customer demand for the restomodded 4x4s.
Curated reports growing demand from its customer base for this type of vehicle and the company’s co-founder John Temerian said: ‘Touring is a natural fit. Our philosophy is about celebrating automotive passion in all its forms, whether that’s a preserved low-mileage original or a reimagined modern classic.
‘Touring shares our obsession with detail and craftsmanship, and there’s massive potential in bringing these G-Class vehicles to our community.’
Ryan Webb, founder of Touring, added: ‘Every vehicle we build is commissioned by someone who intends to use it, and we handle what it takes to get them there. Curated has been doing that for collectors for years, and joining them puts what we build in front of the people most likely to want it.’
Touring will continue to build on the G-Class platform, and Webb will continue to lead the brand.
