The 1969 Reliant Regal Supervan III used in the first two series of Only Fools and Horses is up for sale at Iconic Auctioneers’ NEC Classic Motor Show auction on Sunday 15 November.
With an estimate of £30,000-£40,000, the Reliant will attract plenty of interest as featured in many memorable scenes from the first two series of the hit sitcom.
It appeared in all 13 episodes of Only Fools and Horses, including the famous chandelier episode A Touch of Glass.
Still in its famous Trotters Independent Trading livery, the Reliant was the first of several used during filming.
It has been gently restored by its current owner to appear as it did on screen and is accompanied by a replica Harrison watch and novelty cheque for £6.2 million – which meant Del and Rodney finally did becomes millionaires.

There can’t be many vehicles that are as instantly recognisable as this APL 911H. Its connection to the very earliest years of Only Fools and Horses makes it particularly special, and for the right fan, you might even say: lovely jubbly.’
